For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hey =)
I had started a discussion at another place, but figured this was a better spot for it. I just wanted to start a place where we could all chat that our children were in the same group.
My name is Candy and my son is a 4th generation sailor on his dad's side. I am so proud of him. His father was in the Navy and I was Air Force. He did a little bit of college and decided that it wasn't for him. He is going to Mississippi for A school to be a SeeBee builder.
So glad I was told about this site.

Hey Candy. My name is Abbie and our sons are in the same Division. He is a first gen Navy and very proud to start the tradition in our family. He'll be shipping off to Groton after Basic. Glad to meet you!

Hi! Like you I started in a different section....this is better :-) My recruit is also in Ship 07 Division 163. Can't wait for June 1 to hug him..... he's first Navy generation and can't wait to learn their lingo.... My hubby is USAF and my son's dad is USMC so not entirely new to the military lifestyle. It's great seeing all the reassuring postings from everyone and to have the shared moments amongst each other. Thank you!

Nice to hear from you ladies. My name is Lori and our sons are graduating on the same date. First generation Navy here also. My 18yo is going to the Marines in the fall. Finally got the plane tickets and rental car yesterday. Ifyou haven't done so you should. The (mwr) travel agency brochure that came in the lette was so easy. Just call the 800 # and bam its over. Now just to get the hotel.

My flight gets in at 3:50. I am going to do my best to be at Sarge's meet & greet. I'll be toting my parents, Ty's grandparents. We are all so proud of him!! Can hardly wait to meet with the women who will have come through this together via N4M.

It's looking like Sarge's is the best one to go to. I can help some with transportation to it if needed. I'd have to drop off my husband and son and then come get, but I have no problem doing it so everyone can attend.
