Hi Ladies!     I was looking over the Meet & Greet info and I think I'll attend the one at Flanagan's.    They are a little bit closer to the Navy Lodge and after driving about 24 hours, I'll have to give myself a break.        Brandi

Ok, I will be attending the same one as yourself.  Who is traveling with you??  It will be myself and my husband Greg. I think our drive is like 16 hours.

My traveling companion will be my 16 yr old daughter, Elizabeth, controlling the radio for the entire trip.   She is also an awesome navigator and has layed out our route there through St Louis and our route back through Nashville.  I told her that going through Nashville is a 3 hour detour.   She said, "but MOM, it is the home of country music!!!!".  So, I guess it is a must to go through Nashville.

Then Elizabeth should have gone with Travis and I in March to TN.  We did a round trip 1400 miles in 72 hours to Nashville and back...LOL  Our objective was to see Keith Urban at the Grand Ole Opry before he left for the RTC.   We went down town Nashvile the day of seeing Keith we went to the Country Music Hall of Fame, Antique Archonology (American Pickers store) had chinese food (travis' favorite food) downtown then drove all the streets, caught a nap then off to see Keith Urban!!  we also saw Gloriana (Kiss you Goodnight), Brett Elderedge (She call me Raymond) along with Connie Smith, Jeanie Sealy, Bill Anderson, Little Jimmy Dickens, Mike Snyder and Bob Osborn and the Rocky Top Express!!   We had a ball and would love to go back again...It was Travis and I's last road trip as him as a kid.   We had a great time, singing and laughing.  Hope to do trips with him in the future to his ports of call!!!

OK Brandi - it is official - Ben does not know Travis and Travis is not working on the flag with Ben, at least that was the news in the last letter. They can order the shirts with the flag design there - shoot he is making the big bucks now and has no expenses and Ladies, did we not miss Mother's Day?! LOL! I am so excited I could scream! I just hope I don't blubber all over his uniform! So what is everyone doing after PIR? My SR wants to go into Chicago and eat - anyone know how far that is?

Woot woot!!    aww thats a shame, Travis told me it was because he didnt have painting experience?  Travis has already order us shirts--one for him and one for me.  I know how you feel about seeing him cause I just hope I get through the ceremony by not crying through it all.   Travis said the saem thing find something to do and lets do it and he wanted Chinese food!!!  I am not sure of the distance cause we are use to driving to do anything here and to me it really dont matter as long as we are together and we are sharing the time with him....I will be good.  I will look more into this weekend about whats going on this city for next week.

So has anyone gotten their call?? Are they done and passed??

I'm sending you a private message...

Got my call yeaterdaybwhile in enroute to chicago...in Marion, il now and will be in great lakes after lunch today. Hope you are coming & love to meet you tonight at Flanagans from 5-8 also we are staying at the navy lodge until Monday June 4
