Hello Ladies!  So excited that our division won the Captain's Cup.  They must be so proud.  This night is going to be long.  Can't wait for that call tomorrow. :)  Prayers for our division!  See you all on Friday and hopefully on Thursday at the Sundance.  We will be waiting for our son's friend who is arriving at Midway airport at 5:30 pm, so we will be late at best.

@Shawn's mom - Hope your dad is doing well.

AHHHHH.... My kid gives me NO info!!  I don't know what I would do without this site..  LOL  Hopefully he will have some words stored up for Friday afternoon!!

Hello!  Just received the "I'm a Sailor call"  All who sent to Battle Stations from division 170 passed.  Happy, happy, happy!!!!

I just received my sailor called 45 minutes ago so happy for the entire div 170

Just got "the call" too. Shawn's a sailor!!! He sounded soooo tired but very relieved it was over. He is looking forward to PIR and wants to go see the Advengers on Friday. Not sure how I feel about that since he has to fly out at 7am on Sat :(  but it is his day so he has earned that small privilege. He is excited for PIR. See everyone soon!

D'yonte has to fly out at 3am Saturday I agree not alot of time to spend with your love ones but it beats none
Travis said he is leaving the base at 0100 for the airport and his flight to Conneticut is at 715 am on Saturday.

hello everyone, i got my call too. my son was very emotional. i am sure he was tired.  i tried to keep the conversation up beat for his sake but deep in my heart i still wish he didn't enlist.  this sure will make him grow up on many levels.  he is second guessing himself and that concerns me since we are looking at five years.  he leaves for CT midnight/1:00 or at least that is when he has to be at the airport.  he didn't have specific info, he just wanted to talk to me.  he did say school starts the 16 of june.  so what do they do until then.  anyone know?  well i have to go pack i am leaving tomorrow for chicago around 1:00 it is a 5 1/2 hour drive from here.  congrats to all the new sailors!!
