Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 213 and 214

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Ellen. Thanks for the info. That is my SR and he is wearing black belt. I have an I phone so I can Enlarge pic and I was able to pic him out. My SR has very distinguish features. :)
Yes ambi9821 those are the pics I was talking about.

Perhaps I am looking at different photos. The pictures I see practicing for PIR is the TG that went through PIR this past Friday. I said black belts I should have said green, that look black in most photos.

:) I was able to see him in 2 pics. It was only because of IPhone has Zoom feature for pics. So that helped me a lot as I zoomed in on everyone to find him. Lol

Hi everyone!  Just got a call from Kyle @ 5:25 EST! He says DIV 214 is really doing well!  He was moved from Guidon to PFC, which is the flag bearer for the Division - he's the shortest one out of 85 in the division!  Love my short son :) He's made several friends: C* is his bunkmate beside him, B*, G*, DS* and S*........Hope I spelled those right :)  He says they practiced marching today and is getting used to the 2 minute showers with 85 guys all around...LOL  His new glasses are rubbing his nose and he wants his contacts back, but other than that - really happy! They are having a hard time designing the division flag - since the commanders keep nixing the ones they come up with.  He's been changed from Engineman to Machinist Mate which is part of the same rating, from what he tells me.....Gotta do some reading about all that now :)  Please let me know if you're the mom, g/f, wife of any of the names he gave me! It would be great to connect with those he's becoming buds with!

Sorry about posting the last names Ellen :)  I was just so excited and wanted other moms to know that my son has made wonderful friends with them :) Now I know......Thank you!

No worries, and no need to apologize. It happens, we watch, we fix. :)

You are not the first and I guarantee you won't be the last, so again...NO WORRIES! :)

I don't think my son is one of the names you mention above, my son is in div 214, but I'm estatic to hear that their division is doing well.  My son said that they are able to talk quietly before lights out and that the group of guys around him all got along great.  My son said that he holds a flag too.

Can't wait to my son again!!!

My grandson is ship 03 div 213.  We are from Lancaster, Pa.  Does anyone have a S.R. in this group from this or near by area? We just joined this group. ( Bettyboop48 )

Welcome Betty Boop!  My son is in 214 and will be going to A school in GL as a Machinist Mate :)

bettyboop48--my son is ship 3, div 213 also.  We are from Mississippi

my son is in that division  from NH

Moms my SR told me he would be calling Wednesday also. They will get more call priviledges. Maybe they need the encouragement of talking to family like someone said earlier about why some divisions get more calls than others. Anyway, just in case have your phones Wednesday.
