Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 812 and 813
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there ladies!!!

Thank you mew11 we appreciate your prayer. I did get to talk to him for a few minutes last week and it made me miss him even more. He said he was doing fine but didn't know when he would be able to call again, I hope it's soon. It is difficult for them to call everyone especially for our son, he normally calls his gf or his mom which is fine because we are all close and tell each other everything but that day I was blessed to receive his call, I wanted to reach through the phone and wrap my arms around him.
My son is in 812 and I did get a call from my SR this afternoon - all is well, I think he did well in some physical activity and he (along with some others) earned phone calls!!!! I think it was about 30 minutes long. At one point (and this has happened before) his voice went really faint, and I had remembered reading on here somewhere that the phones sometimes disconnect. The advise was to ask the SR to hold the cord firm and snug into the hand set...I asked him to do that for me (and he did as I requested, only it caused us to be disconnected :-( I was so sad that following my request had severed our conversation and started to cry....but he called back and said to tell everyone that that advise doesn't always work! :-)
His wisdom teeth all came out last week!
mew the difference is probably the contracts they have. Each division is made up of various spec ops contracts. SEAL and SWCC may be together and EOD will be mixed with another. This is just an example. They will all march out together at PIR. The 800 divisions march in last and form at the far right of the hall. You will be seated directly in front of them, so even though they may not be in the same division, you will all be together.
Hello,
My son is in DIV 812 and said he is making some great friends. I received the "I made it" call and then 2 more calls the following 2 saturdays and the last call was Wednesday night. I received 2 letters from him yesterday. He is sounding better and more upbeat everytime I speak with him.(he is still counting down the Fridays to PIR though). Thanks to everyone for the info and moral support as we get closer to 6/7/13.(I started a new post by mistake...I'm a newbie)

It really has been quiet, as is my telephone!! I thought the Wednesday phone call was possibly an earned privilege, but if that means no call on the weekend it really isn't is it?Counting down to June 7......
