While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 211 and 212
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

My SR is in Div 211 and I look forward to getting to know you all a little bit better and hopefully meet most of you at the meet & greet and PIR of course. I have to admit after seeing the video and listening to others I am a little scared about Battle Stations. I know my son has it in him to get it done and I know how much he wants this and his Navy career. Sending postive thoughts and prayer to all our SR's for good health, strength and focus. Glad to be a part of your Navy family.
By the way, is Battle Stations 12 hours or 24 hours long after their 8 hour day? Thx!

Hello! My SR is ship 3 Div 212. He called this past Saturday. He had wisdom tooth pulled out. He called for Mothers Day. He called Monday and yesterday twice. They told him that no one else in his div wanted to call so they let him call again. He is doing fine but on some type of light duty for a couple of days due to wisdom tooth pulled out. He told me he is a push div which I don't understand what that is. Well hope all SR are doing well.

These brother divisions 211/212 are in a "Push" where some SR's start BC later waiting for their div to fill and then they have approx. 8 weeks to complete BC to PIR on 6/12th. There is a link for military terms/definitions that gives the exact meaning of a "Push". My SR arrived at GL on 4/15, he is in "Push" integrated div 211. He had to wait over a week for his div to fill before he could start BC, but he still has approx. 8 weeks where the SR's that arrived later have less, 7 weeks. That's what I have learned anyway. Hopefully both our divisions can finish strong and I can't wait to get the "I'm a Sailor call" less than 29 days now!! Good Luck to our SR's!

ProudParents: I just made our reservations for PIR! It's so exciting! I look forward to meeting you in person at the meet and greet. Our SR's will do great at Battle Stations! They are working so hard and will get through it! My understanding is Battle Stations are 24 hours. Is this correct? Anyone...

Hi luckymom! It will be great meeting you and watching our Sailors graduate! It's my understanding after their 8 hour day they then have 12 hours of Battle Stations. Some say more but I've seen different on video's of BS's but maybe somethings changed.

This TG will start BS this week, and they go by division in numerical order. These two divisions will have BS next week.

Sure hoping our Division pulled it together and will be ready for BS next week. It hasn't been easy for our SR's being in an integrated and push division. I will be lighting a blue candle and remain hopeful they made significant improvement.
