DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Hey Lala: I think you are the one who may be able to answer this question. When did you remove your son/daughter from your auto and medical insurance? I thought I would leave my son on our insurances until PIR. Does the Navy insure them for auto insurance? I know that they cover the medical end of it, but when does that kick in? I'm just concerned in case he does come home for liberty at some point, he probably will be driving my car.
Happy Friday!!
"He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
he who cherishes understanding prospers."
Proverbs 19:8
Good morning Lala - I'm so glad Poochie is doing well and so is Mom. We have Coral Snakes in the woods that surround our house, and I'm always worrying about encountering one of those.
Someone mentioned they had ordered the USS Triton coin.
Could someone tell me how to go about doing that? Thanks.
Good morning everyone and Thanks so much :) That Copperhead was no match for our Poochie :) My Mom is also doing better after her fall. My Sailor and I are going to split the cost and get life alert for her. We were lucky she had the cordless phone in her pocket when she fell so she was able to call me for help. And my son was in her area just leaving another call (first responder) so he was able to get to her pretty quickly. She looks much worse than she feels because she is on coumadin and bruises so badly :( But she will be fine. It has been a crazy week.
mam4real, you are very welcome. I actually spoke to a mom yesterday who heard from her son in boot camp and he got to change his job/rate and will now be going to a different A-school. It doesn't happen often and it has a lot to do with the job being over or undermanned but it does happen. I hope he gets what he wants as soon as possible :) And I know right now 2 years seems like a very long time but after boot camp that time will FLY. Tomorrow, May 25th is the date my daughter left for boot camp 3 years ago. It seems like it was only a few months ago.
Good morning ladies! 20 more day to go! Iam so excited can't wait to see my son.
@ willsmom my SR is Div 931 hope you got a letter too
@ FLA navymom1501 so happy for you and your son. keep doing the happy dance!
Good Morning!
You're certainly right about that auhi00.
But at least we can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Good morning everyone. I hope you have a great day.
3 more Weeks, 3 more Weeks, Yea! It's going fast and slow at the same time.
LaLa - So glad Poochie is doing better!
