Blue candles lit for the start of BattleStations soon! Can't post dates here, but for those who don't know, blue candles being lit are in honor of your SRs/sailors and can be used when they are taking a test, having a hard time, in school, deployed, etc....just an outward sign that you are thinking of your sailors.
Since BattleStations are overnight, some opt to get the electric candles for safety!
Good Morning!
lol Dianne, it happens to me all the time :-)
Oh my gosh, Lala. What the heck is wrong with me today??? Moving too fast, too many interruptions from my mom calling too! :-) Just removed the post...ugh! Thanks for catching it!
Diannep, I think that post is for the 6-8 PIR group :-) oops
Gates passes are now available for those who have not gotten them yet.

Be sure to use the password from your form letter in ALL CAPS. You can print out as many as you like. I took extras just in case. Remember, if you are taking the PIR shuttle, you don't need this. However, you will need it when you return your sailor to base that night if you plan to drive on base (you can also use it for base access at GL A School, we have been told). So it is a good idea to have it with you.
Good morning all!
That is such an honor Lissette and I agree with FTLW. But I will tell you this. the honor guard section is right beside the performing division. That is DIV 931 for this PIR group. So get there early and and pick seats on the end next to the 931 DIV and your 4th person sit in that section right next to you. It will work out just fine :-) And you could even try asking those sitting near you if any of them only have 2 people there. Not sure your 4th person could take their spot but maybe???
Lissette, what a wonderful accomplishment for your daughter. How proud you must be! Hooyah!
YAH, Lissette! That is wonderful news! Congrats!
