Howdy folks anyone  else have an SR in  Ship 02 Div 931.  Would love to here  what  ever you would like to share.  I  came home from work at 6pm  found  the form letter in my mail box.  I didn't even read it except to get the address,  addressed the mound of letters and then  flew to the downtown post office to get them in the  inside box before the  last pick up at 6:30!

My son Matt is in Ship 02, Div 931.  I am so happy to find someone else with a loved one in the same Division.

Me too! I am so excited! I was worried  I would be all by my lonesome over here.  Have you had any letters or calls since the  from letter and 10 sec call?

I had 3 lines scribbled at the end of her form letter.  Along the lines of "~ i'm tired and i miss yiou :(

The word from the vet moms here is that is to be expected and  they seem to all get better around week 5.

No additional letters.  In fact, the bottom of his form letter said, "I miss you.  I can't write anymore".

Do you know if any one has an idea of what they are doing this week?

We got our letter yesterday!  My stepson, Will, is also Ship 02 Div 931.  He wrote on his form letter to please write every day, so we are ready to hit the post office Monday!

My son Cody is also in ship 2 div 931. He wrote about two lines on his form letter saying it was tough and then he drew a smiley face, so I will take that as a good sign. He did say he might get switched to a different division but no explanation as to whether or not it was to balance numbers or skills, or what. It is so hard not getting any information. I am such a planner and not having answers just makes me crazy. I wrote him back and said that in this case, no news was good news cause it meant he wasn't injured, sick or kicked out! Seems like so far to go.....

My son is on ship 2 Div 931 as well. On my form letter he said he hates it there. I don't think anyone ever went to boot and said best time ever........maybe today will be the day we get our first letter?

My daughter's form letter had  a I  sad  note too.  some vet mom's have posted that that is very normal and the first 3-4 weeks are very tough.  I  hope we get a more detailed letter  soon.

Just found some good info: the 900 divisions perform at their own PIR as well as the two before.  If you haven't checked out the Navy RTC facebook page you should.  They post pictures every week  of the PIR  as well as some random pictures during the week.

So  we might be able to see our SR's  on June 1 and June 8th too!!!

Guess what?

I did get to see my son carrying the flag in one of the photos!

Feels like Christmas to get to see him.

Thank you so much for the site suggestion!!

:)

yipee!  No letters for me yet,  hopefuylly today.

looking for the page no luck...found one but no pics?
