OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Queenjailyle!  My daughter is also in the Nuke Program - currently she is attending A School in GC on her way to become a EM.

That is so neat that you have also helped raised puppies for Guiding Eyes for the Blind!  I am actually one of the Region Coordinators in the Monroe Region here in Rochester, New York.  We are currently raising our 7th puppy for GEB, a petite yellow female Lab named Rumor.  My Sailor was always very close to our puppies and helped us raise, too.  She is currently doing some volunteer work at a local animal shelter near the base, just so that she can spend some time with some dogs!!

What a neat connection!
