Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

What an honor to be behind the striking of the coin! Congrats! I'd love to read the write up. I actually have wondered where you have been and was just thinking last night I would message you and see how your daughter was doing.

My sons a CTN, my nephew is a CTT, and my other nephew is a CTR.

FTLW - Take a look at this.... I actually had a lot to do with the design of this coin. The guy had me develop it, and I'm in the process of writing the history for the front and back. This guy wants to release them like they did the states quarters. I actually got the very 1st five of the coin about two weeks ago so I could make the write up. Now you know why I haven't been around lately....

Hubby and I went to see “Battleship” tonight. Kicked Alien Butt! HOOYAH! Loved seeing all the “Sailors” and the USS John Paul Jones reminded me of all of the Recruits as “Camp John Paul Jones” is the main housing area for them! If you go, make sure you wait and watch the scene after the credits…the furry creatures made us laugh as we have one and have worked with the others! LOL
