That's a great question, and I want to know the answer to it too!  He has been last physically in the division this whole time, but he said a lot others have already been held back.  . .

ok--i am just gonna ask the question that maybe somebody else is thinking too.

Squeekerz said "i am so glad we haven't gotten a call saying he'll have to stay back."

can that call still come at any time from this point on?    (like if they don't pass something?)

our son has NOT called to say that he passed his physical test yet.  he was sick for awhile, so not sure where he is in all this.

thanks, all you veterans moms

Yes, it DOES blow my mind that they're halfway through, Pianomom1.

Oh by the way, I saw an EAGLE yesterday afternoon soaring overhead on my drive to my nephew's high school graduation.  Such a sweet God who loves our recruits so!

Yeah, it does!  I am excited that we haven't gotten a call saying he'll have to stay back!  Hopefully he's doing lots better. :D

Diannep- that's awesome. My son was on a USA team out of Florida. He would practice from 5-7 am then go to school. Then after school from 4-7. Plus he tried to fit in school swimming, football and track. He was offered a full scholarship and turned it down to go in the Navy! I was shocked at first but came to realize it's what he wanted to do. I'm very proud of my SR

Joy:  I was a competitive swimmer for 10 yrs....many moons ago!  I have the chlorine-damaged hair and skin to prove it!  :-)  No google wearing back in my day...hope I don't go blind from too much chlorine later in life!.  The summer before the 68 Olympic trials, I was training 5 hours a day....that's alot of chlorine!  :-)  How long has your daughter been swimming competively?

By the way, I'm a "veteran" mom on here (my son PIRed 1.5 yrs ago) here to help the other veterans with any questions you all have.  So please ask and we shall see if we can answer them for you!  Lala is a veteran as well, as is JessicaBSailor, Betsy, janlee, and ochaos.  Not sure all have been on this group yet, but they may be.

Hi Joy!  welcome..  yes. I read we can actually send them a pair of contacts and a mini bottle of solution a week before their graduation so they can wear contacts for their grad. pictures. They said to send them in a small yellow bubble wrap envelope. I have to remind my son that that first day back in contacts will be another adjustment to getting used to them again.

Diannep- I friend requested Lala so that I could get in contact to order the ribbons. Thanks for the Info.
