OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Pianomom1 I was very happy to see your message (our boys are in the same division).  Yes a moment doesn't go by I'm praying for their safety...  I guess this is just the beginning for those thoughts....  Thanks for connecting...

Squeekerz:  So so sorry that he is having such a hard time...but believe me, he is not alone.  So many of them do.  He is getting close to the 4th week (hell week) where things start to get better for them...more positive. Keep encouraging him.  I know...you want to "fix" this, right?  We women are FIXERS!...but obviously you can't fix this...he has to do it and he can.  Even if he is asmoed, that is ok.  My son was...for a week...and has been a sailor now for 1.5 yrs  Each person has his/her own route.  Keep encouraging him and tell him you know he can do this...
