Yes Miss Linda, I'm the cheerleader! (not in the physical sense, oh my!) and   ..........~I'm SO enjoying thinking about everyone's JOY! ~

My son wrote 3 names of those he is friends with, but of course because I think they are last names I can't say. Too bad, it would be fun to know if our SR's are friends like their mom's, but safety first. He did say one was from Georgia, Chicago & Peru!

Pianomom, my favorite prayer for my son has been praying Psalms 91 over him. If it doesn't ring a bell, check it out.. it even talks about the angels lifting them up in their hands so they don't even strike their "foot" against a rock. The whole thing is about protection and is very powerful... Lord we moms unite and pray for ALL our are SR's, we ask for quick miraculous healing for their bodies, strength, success, comfort and miracles in each one..  In Jesus Name.

for anyone who will pray with us for our son and others, please pray that no one else will be injured or get sick.  it's tough enough without those distractions.  thanks, dear friends

hooray!!   we got a 3 pg letter today too!  and thanks to you all, I WAS PREPARED for how difficult it was to read it!   He talked about how hard it is, how he has bruises all over his foot but won't go to medical because he doesn't want to get held back, how standing watch is so hard, etc.

and yes, now i know more how to pray...

So glad that mail is starting to come in for you all!  Makes a difference, doesn't it???
Comment by diannep on May 12, 2011 at 4:08pm
Yes, as Audrey found out...shake out all of your magazines/junk mail from the mailbox because the "important" mail like SR's letters can be stuck in there.  Shame on that mail carrier for not putting a personal letter like that on top!  Well, my current mail carrier does the same thing(sometimes just STUFFS the mail into the box)....I sure miss my "Debbye" mail carrier who always had my important mail on top/junk on the bottom.  ...sigh...

Sunny:  My son was "fired" from watch duty for the same bad handwriting when he was there!

Audrey:  Don't think that will happen.  There is already a graduation that day.  I think the RDCs are just "messing" with them!

Congratulations to Linda, Sunnyb, Audrey and Mommabee on receiving your first letter from your son!!  I'm still waiting and hoping that today will be the day I get a letter from him.

Yippee!!!!!! The little envelope got stuck inside a magazine.  Mine is doing well and has already passed his swim qualifications.  He said that graduation may be moved up for them by 2 weeks due to Osama being killed.  I don't know what that would have to do with bc, but I'll be waiting for any confirmation.  What a wonderful day!

Hey Linda, maybe our SR's are cleaning the bathrooms together, he said that was his job too. He was glad to say he got out of watch duty because his hand writing is so bad they couldn't read the things he logged, and then said, so I do bathroom duty.   OH boy !
