I sent my son some stamps a few days ago but I didn't send any envelopes.  I wonder if I was supposed to?

Bussinbier, I haven't received one either.  Don't worry though, our day is coming.

wow. I wonder if boys are up arguing all night? haha, i kinda doubt it. I have 2 boys and a daughter. Boys are so much more easy going.

I had no idea they get promoted in boot camp?? And I didn't know they had to pass a fitness test so early on? Wow. I geuss my son's division hasn't done that yet. Or he just didn't mention it.

OK EVERYBODY SAY WHEW WHEW!!!   I got my first letter today!   TJ was able to write the letter on Mother's Day (how sweet)   He said the first 5 days really sucked and he is frustrated that there is no quiet time to study, but he is managing.   He passed his physical fitness test.  He got promoted to E-2.   He sounds happy overall.   He wrote on the navy paper - he didn't answer the questionaire that I sent - but he used the stamps that I sent (so I know he at least got to read my letter).   Great Day!   Hope everyone else gets a letter too!

My son said that on day 11 they weren't done their processing yet which meant they hadn't started any serious exercising/running. Also meant they didn't 'earn' free time. They don't 'earn' free time until after P days i geuss.  Also, he said they spend their days folding clothes, making beds, and dusting with rags.  He said they all take shifts on "watch duty" which means they have to stand there doing nothing for 2 hours. For 3 days in a row he was assigned to 0400-0600 hours. He said it is very hard to stay awake!!!   The letter ended on day 18 and he said that they did start their exercising now. He said it's tough but it's what he expected. I am sooo happy to hear from him. I don't think he would tell me if it was bad or if he was really sick.  Hopefully all is great.

So happy for you KC's mom!!  Right after I catch up on everyone's news I'm going to the mailbox to see if I have my first letter.  Wish me luck!
