Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I know what you mean sunnyb What am I going to do now every morning I had my ritual sitting and writing that letter and then just waiting on the cute little mailman. and I forgot who was saying this before I think it was KC'smom...This sight is so awesome. I also have sat at my computer laughing through tears.That is the best way to feel. I love all of you!!! and good luck and much love to all of your SR's

@imajagtoo---remind me again, why are you concerned that your SR might be ASMO-ed?   remember, i am in the same boat (no pun intended) as you. since we have gotten 2 calls and one of them was on a sunday afternoon, i figure that probably tomorrow we might hear what is going on.  maybe not.   i just pray that we know something one way or another before it's too late to cancel things....:(

I figured today was the last day to send a letter....3-5 days to get there....their focus will be on BS21 and getting ready for PIR and whatever else they are doing to complete bc. We amy get a letter when they get their orders.

Hi Angel- we got our phone call at about the three week point. Nothing since. I guess we won't get one until the I'm a Sailor call.

**I'm sure gonna miss that mail ladies sweet little beep beep. Was trying to think of a tiny little gift to put in the mail box for her.

Only one phone call here too. He always said his div was doing good things so I expected a reward call at some point but noooooooo. Oh well the 6/17 PIR countdown clock marches on.
