Ladies:

Do you think 4 oz is too big to send of contact lens solution for PIR? They say one week's worth?

pianomom, I am praying real hard for your son that he will not be separated and will soon be feeling well again. Praying real hard for you too for peace of mind. Would be nice if my son could teach your son how to float and your son could teach him how to run!

Continuing to hold KC'smom and Squeekerz in my prayers also.

WOOHOO got a letter....he said this week is fire fighting and applications (?) and there are a lot of classes lots of new stuff to learn in a short time. He does not have his orders yet so he does not know when he is leaving. He reminded me that he will be in  his dress whites so we can not do anything to get real dirty and I thought he might like to go to Six Flags.....DIV 206 is now a senior div which means people get out of their way when they march. They were also used for demonstration purposes (in marching).

One week from tomorrow we leave for the windy city!!!!

Good afternoon ladies. It's been so busy at work today I haven't even had time to look until now. Making magic is a tough job.
Anyway, I want to say to squeeker,Kc'smom and pianomom I pray, think and send well wishes to your SR's everyday and to all our SR's. It is a great thing they all are doing to serve their country so we may all live free.
This is the first time my son has been away from home and us. I was so lost and now I am just overflowing with pride for him and all of our SR's
I will return the bootcamp group after graduation to check up on our injured and to offer advice and info. I wish I could meet you all. May e I'll see some at the meet and greet and don't forget to out your Navy4mom name on your name tag. Peace!!

My mail lady sent me a message. My husband has Christopher mail. It will take all my restraint not to open that letter when I get home.

...and hoping that his light duty time and getting that float done will allow him to PIR with this group!  Prayers (and fingers crossed too!)

pianomom:  Praying for your SR aong with KC's SR and Squeekerz's SR.  It is amazing what some of the asmoed SRs do recover from...so hope that is the case for yours and that he is not separated.  Prayers all the way around here....

One of my N4M friends on here saw her sailor PIR last year and just saw his brother graduate from the Coast Guard bootcamp.  Said the ceremony for that was very nice, but very small (only 84 graduates compared to 500-1000 at NAVY PIR depending on number of divisions)...and just didn't compare to the awesomeness of the NAVY PIR.  You all are in for such a wonderful treat!  I am excited for you!

ckwinn and others who can't attend:  Please be sure to order the PIR DVD if your SR didn't already order it.  Here is the email address of the person who can help you in Photographic Services:

Lots of kleenex at PIR, ladies...if you are anything like I was, you will be doing lots of happy and proud tears!  A good waterproof mascara may be nice too!  :-)

Can any of you ladies in 210 private message ckwinn to get her son's name and take some PIR piks of her sailor for her?  I bet she would greatly appreciate that!
