Donna:  Yes, you can pack snacks as long as all you pack complies with airlines rules.

Hi Sunnyb, Where is your son going?  Mine is heading to Pensacola.  I hope I get a call soon telling me whether he leaves on Saturday or can spend the weekend with us.  I was only going to pack the black bag if he's leaving that weekend.

Can we pack snacks in the black bag we give them at the airport?

I have to go put my son's clothes back in his closet. Before he left he layed out everything he wanted me to bring! Ha.. looks like a small mountian and most of it is winter since he left mid April. Oh my..  I talked to the A school moms to where he is going, and they said they can't wear them until about 4 weeks anyway, and most of their bodys have changed so much they don't fit.

Do you all know what your packing in those black bags for those sailors? I got a few tips from some moms if you need them.

I got a letter AND a phone call today!  I feel like I won the lottery!  I got my parking passes, confirmed my hotel reservations, picked out clothes, cleaned a suitcase, input the gps route and am just itching to get in the car and GO!
