Diannep, I was SO touched by your Lab stories.  They are truly wonderful dogs and we do love them dearly don't we?  Of course I love any kind of dogs (and cats are ok too) but our Lab is so smart and just like yours he knows when I'm hurting.  He's getting old now and can't run like he used to but he's still as loving as can be.  I am so sorry about your husband's passing in 2001.  I know that must have been a very rough time for you and your sons.  God bless you and your family and thank you so much for your support for this group.

Well, I got a letter today and I've had a good cry and I guess I need you guys to remind me he's gonna be okay.  He's been sick for 27 days and is struggling to pass the running part of PT. Every time he starts to feel better something hits him hard again.  He's had fever of 102 for 7 days straight.  He's worried that he won't make graduation.  He said all he wants to do is call home so we can tell him it's gonna be okay.  I always write him optimistic letters but I just don't know what to say to him.  Thanks for listening everyone.    I don't care if he doesn't graduate on the 17th.  I just want him to feel better.

One time I sent a sexy/racey text to my husban. Well at least I thought I did. I actually sent it to my son by mistake. When I tried to explain. He said, I don't want to know." he was 17 at the time.

to diannep--i am not sure where his A School will be..  how to find out? (if it's from him, i am going to be waiting awhile probably)

pianomom:  Join your sailor's A School group now if you haven't already.  You can get lots of info there.  Then when you know the next step in your sailor's journey, join that group.  My son is connected to a ship, so I joined that one and also the city where it is based.  There are also "interest" groups on this site....so just see what you might like to be a part of!

Lala:  SO sorry about your sailor's grandfather-in-law.....glad you will get to see them though.  Sorry about the sailor killed in the motorcycle accident also...read the news about that one.  So sad.

As all can see from Connie's last post, she is a "hands on" sailor's mom!  She got me excited reading her words....and mine already finished bootcamp!  HA!

Hi, Connie!
