Oh, and thank you ladies for writing my son letters/ cards of encouragement, too. Makes me feel better knowing that he will be getting so much encouragement from you all.

gosh, I love the idea. that reminds me of when I sent him a letter from our dog. It said all the things i imagine our dog is thinking about us!!  We're not big fans of the dog to put it nicely. But, it's my son's so I have to take care of "it". haahaa. I thought it was hilarious anyway. I will def. try the letter to myself.

My daughter's entire 1st grade class wrote my son get well letters today.(since he has a fractured ankle). Oh my God were they cute!  I laughed and cried at the same time. Laughed b/c I couldn't believe the spelling of some of the words, and cried b/c it was so sweet.  Tomorrow my son's 5th grade class is going to write the 'get well' letters. I can't wait to see them. Won't be as cute, though as the 1st grade!!

You know....maybe because of Memorial Day the mail was delayed......yes!  That's it!!  We should all be getting mail tomorrow or Saturday!  I love that idea, Audrey....may have to steal that one!!

I mailed my son a letter to myself today with a SASE and instructions to sign it and mail it back.  I pretended I was him and said all of the things I want to hear him say.  It was very cathartic.  Anyone who wants to steal the idea, feel free.

Oh, you guys are very welcome. Keeping you all sane?  Oh, I don't know...I'm not sure it is possible to stay sane when loved ones are going through bootcamp, but I try to help you all keep it that way!  :-)

Getting off for the night now, ladies.  Have a good one!

Nite!

No letter today. It's been a week. I'm really bummed. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks Diannep. That meant allot :-)

I didn't get a letter today either.  Maybe they are so busy they didn't get the letters out on time.  Last letter I received was last Thursday.  I can't help blame the mail though.  Don't worry, hopefully we will get another letter tomorrow or Saturday!
