Congrats to the new sailors today!  Glad to see that 931 went last night.  So 205-208 go tonight and 209-210 tomorrow night.  Praying for all of them!

HOOYAH!

RWG:  If he passed today, he may be having a hard time getting to a phone to call right now with the others calling.  If he didn't pass today, maybe he will get a chance tomorrow and then go with tomorrow's BattleStations group?  Praying for him.  Just to let you know, there was a lady on the site last summer whose daughter didn't pass the run.  Missed her PIR.  It took 3 weeks, but she passed, did BattleStations with another group and went straight to A School.  So.....there are chances here!  Praying!

Sunny:  If your sailor leaves from Midway, you must meet your sailor in front of security since its USO is after security.  USO at Ohare is before security.  And, yes, you must go to their airlines counter with them so that you can get your gate pass to wait with them for their flight.

Congrats to all the new sailors and their families!!!  :D  It must be so exciting for you to be getting the calls!!! :)

I'm doin' alright today.  My throat hurts really bad and the headache is still lingering, but the fever is gone.  If it comes back, it stays below 101.

Pianomom1....yes just got the call. He's a sailor and a very proud one. He said everyone In 11/203 passed. What a day he will forever remember.

Ahhhh.....not sure I would take your sailor from the airport as FREEBIRD did.  God forbid something happens (even traffic) and you don't get him/her back in time....I know from a friend on this site that her sailor was not awakened by the powers that be at RTC when his group left (his bunk was in a different area and he was the only one in that area left). An oversight...and he had no alarm clock.  He missed his flight.  He was in big trouble with his A School...even though he didn't know how it could be helped.  It was worked out...but I wouldn't take a chance on that.  Better to visit at the airport with your sailor, in my humble opinion.
