Hello,
Here's the dilemma, I am going to graduation to support my future sailor even if I can't see the actual ceremony. I would really like to, but I couldn't take one of my SR's grandparents spots even if my SR wanted me to. As his parents and his grandparents are going.
I really do want to go and was wondering if anyone's SR had any extra slots?
Thank you, Victoria.

Thank you!
I would be so appreciative to you. It would be so great to be able to see him graduate and allow his family to see him as well.
Ladies you cannot share "spots", it is against the RTC rules. If you are not on your SRs list you cannot be on another even if they have an extra one open. Both SRs can get in trouble and it can come down to nobody on the list getting in to PIR. Your SRs can and probably will loose their liberty privileges PIR weekend too.
I was a sailor myself. Yes you can. It's not "sharing" it's just putting my name on his list. A recruit can put anyone he wants on his access list. For all RTC knows I'm a friend or a cousin. What you can't do is show up the day of and try to get on someone else's access list. They just don't have time for that.
So you would just give him my name to put on his list. Which I can message to you. I did the same thing for my shipmate, and we were told to do so by our RDCs for people who needed more than four people to go.
"It is the recruit’s decision whom to place on the access list. Please communicate with your recruit well before the final week of training to be sure the right names are on the list. The Public Affairs Office does not have a copy of the access list as they names on the list are not divulged to the public. No additions, deletions or changes will be made to the access list the week of graduation."
These are the RTC rules. As long as you are on an access list you see PIR.
Evidently things have changed victoriahazel.

U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command : I am new to the navy family and this question seems to come up a lot. I know that the Policies are changing for PIR. My Question is this: If someone only has 2 people that can come to PIR can the SR invite 2 other people and put them on the list if it is another SR that is in his or her DIV and SHIP? Please clarify this as this seems to be the hot topic. Thank you very much for responding.
