Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 233 and 234

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Amber27. I took Amtrak last time you can take the Metro to the base catch it from union station. We had to walk a few blocks to catch the metro.
Twinsailorsmom thanks for the heads up. I def. love all the great heads up for our trip. It's going to make it that much easier to be on top of everything before we go. (:

Hi everybody! My name is Dorothy and my husband is ship 3 division 233. I live in Ohio, so I am going to be driving up to PIR with my best friend. I am so excited to see my husband, and I am so proud of him! <3

Hello mom's and wives........Looking foward to seeing everyone on June 21st!   Everybody keeps telling me that's right around the cornor for us,  but yet it still feels so far away!  I have a son who is 13 and a daughter who is 10 who will also be in Chicago with us for graduation.  I have booked my room at the Navy Lodge, and have heard and read great reviews from many that have stayed there in the past.   It sounds as if my trip will be a short one,  coming in on Thursday night and leaving mid afternoon on Saturday if my SR's flight to Mississippi doesn't change.  So much excitement to look forward to...I'm thinking of all you everyday along with our boys!

HI Amberw27, chris's wife and kim.  Looking forward to seeing all of you on June 21.  Keeping all of you and our SR's in my prayers!

Hope everyone is hanging in there......Lit a blue cancle for our SR's last night and prayed for all of them!   C'mon June 21st!!

Hello! So glad I found this group. My son is ship 03 div 234. I received my first real letter from him yesterday. We are driving to Great Lakes on June 20. Looking forward to connecting with other family members of SR's!

Betsy, I'm so happy to hear that! My SR is in the same division with yours. I'm so exited to meet all of you on June 21st.

Welcome Betsy... My son is in ship 03 Div 233, training with your son. Looking forward to June 21st. We have a lot to look forward to! :)

Hi Betsy.  My son is also in the same division as yours.  I just received my first real letter from him today.  It was so great to finally get some form of communication from him!!!  I am looking forward to seeing you and everyone else at PIR

Thank you all for the warm welcome. It is incredibly cool to be able to talk to other moms here! My friends at home do not understand what it feels like. I am getting past the sadness and now am so excited...really looking forward to June 21st! My son wrote that everyone in his division is really cool. I was glad to hear that. I am looking forward to a phone call. Had a brief 10 minute call last weekend.

I got a letter today! Anyone else from div 234 get letters?
