Evening ladies! I have a dilemma. I have been writing my SR son daily. Last night I made the comment at dinner that I realized how lame my life was when I started chronicling my day everyday. I was only joking, but my other sons were horrified. They said that I was branding my son as a momma's boy, and marking him for a problem. Now I don't know what to do! Any advice? I didn't send one today :-(
Woot woo! just booked my room at Navy Lodge (practically the only room left in town)... Road Trip!! 1700+ miles to Great Lakes, but it will be fun! Cannot wait for 6/22! 51 days and counting!
Ooops. I meant to say I wish I was more patient!!!
I am crossing my fingers for a form letter today! I got his address from the recruiter yesterday but the PIR date is just an estimate from the recruiter and our calculations. I with a was more patient!
The countdown clock for the phones is a good idea. I have an iPhone 4s so I'm sure there's a way to get one on there I just haven't figured it out yet! haha
Happy Wednesday, ladies! :)
I want to thank FTLW for the above links - I copied and sent the Proper Public Behavior with your new Sailor to my son's girlfriend who is accompanying us to PIR. She has always shown the best deportment with him, but who knew there were so many rules? I appreciate all the advice and support!
Julie - I love the countdown clock - I check it all the time! It makes me smile to see it go lower and lower!
Ladies, we ask that you not start division GROUPS on N4Moms. Many do this on FB, which is fine. We would rather you start a discussion group above for your division. Remember, before starting one, please check to make sure someone else hasn't started it. There should only be one discussion group per division.
Tabatha: If you don't mind deleting your Div 189 group and joining the 189 discussion above that was started by Luke's Mom. That frees up space on the N4Moms site for other groups to start. You all will need to stay on this main page too...becase we N4Moms veterans will be posting lots of good info here and answering questions. We do not have time to go through the discussion groups alot since we are each on about 6-7 PIR groups at a time. But we do monitor this main page.
Good morning all!
If you have a kid on Ship 3 Division 189 please join...
http://www.navyformoms.com/group/ship-3-division-189
We can discuss how we are feeling what we are going through and lean on each other for support.
