Any BattleStations dates for 191-194/932?  Please friend request/private message to me.  Keeping a schedule.  Thanks!

Heck RACW - enjoy those pictures of that boy!  At least until I get my little RACW voodoo doll out and start sticking pins in - just kidding really!  I am very happy for you.  I just printed off the pictures and sent them to our SR - the one at PIR I KNOW is him; the back of head one I'm just SURE it's him!  :)  Betsy is right - I, for one, do enjoy sharing others' joys on this group!  You all have been such a wonderful blessing to me and what a support!  Time is almost here girls!  Can you stand it?   I feel like I'm going to explode just waiting for next Thursday to get here, so we can start down the road towards Chicago!

You guys are too funny...I would like to ask the Navy a question:  How is it that you can take our own children and turn them physically into "heads" that we aren't sure are ours???  How can that be???  :-)  I did the same thing...printed out the piks and everything.  My sailor looked at me like I had 4 eyes when I showed him.  Ummm....NO, Mom.  NOT ME!  OOPS!

Comment by Betsy, mom of Stennis sailor on June 12, 2012 at 10:17pm

I'm so glad that you have claimed the heads in that picture, lol.

RACW, lol, that's hysterical about photo shopping heads.  And don't feel the need to apologize for your good fortune.  I'm sure that everyone on here is very happy for you.  The good thing about being on here, is that the ladies also love to share your joys.

RACW you made me spit out my tea!!!! Too funny. Thanks, but if I keep the photos down to a small size, no one will know the difference ;-)

Mumof4 you crack me up! "Just pick a head and claim it." I'm starting to feel guilty that I've seen my son three times in pictures and shouted it to everyone. I'm sorry you all haven't had any luck. Seriously, I am never lucky...so this is very strange...but wonderful. I'm good with photoshop. If you send me pictures of your SRs I'd be happy to put their heads on someone's body in the marching photos. I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of you to see your kiddos.

Oh LaLa - I am honored to now be considered one of the elite CrAzY Navy Moms group!  :)

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on June 12, 2012 at 8:18pm

mumof4 it is official, you are one of us now :-) A CrAzY Navy Mom :-)

Elena, they don't go by the same rules on FB, not sure why. I think it's crazy. I believe it is best not to use last names no matter what site you are on.

So So HAPPY for those who got to see their recruits. I remember that feeling very well and it warms your heart :-) Send them a copy of the pic in your next letter. they will be wondering how the heck you got it lol.

I just made my husband look at the picture, and he even agreed that was probably our boys head! :)
