My SR has only been at BC 16 days to the day.......I think he must be very lucky compared to all your SR's.  I really thought his PIR would be 6/29, but the form letter said 6/22!  I think it's because he is a 900 division.   I made my husband very happy last night.  He asked me what I wanted to do for Mother's Day, and I told him pretty much Sunday School, church and then sit home by the phone JUST IN CASE!  How sad is that?   He said he would cook for me, though, since I didn't want to do anything or go anywhere!  :)  I'm sure I'll end up cleaning up, but that's okay.

Julie - I haven't gotten a letter either.  It's hard not to run to the mailbox everyday to check but someone told me a soon as I stop looking for it, there it will be.  I've sent off the many letters I have written my son last week in hopes that he received them this past Sunday.  As much as I miss him, I realized I still have touch with the outside world. He has no clue as to what is going on other than my letters to him.  I hope my words will be comforting to him and thinking that they will be has given me a bit of comfort (Still on the lookout for the letter though).

They have technically been in GL for 3 weeks (to the day) today... But I guess the P-days dont count toward the BC?

I just want the letter for our 5 year old son. He misses his daddy a whole lot.

Our mail doesn't come until 4:00, so won't know until later.....don't go home right after school today either - mammogram time!  Lucky me!  Probably too much information, huh?  Our youngest sent another picture of a Navy ship in a card to his big brother today!  I hope our SR doesn't get in trouble for his little brother's pics!  Who knew there was an Ironing Petty Officer?  Does that mean that my SR STILL isn't learning to iron his own stuff?  LOL.....
