Has everyone gotten their questions answered about the meet and greet? Has anyone put their basket together yet? Do we have an average price point????

Been working on quilt, will start on basket at the end of next week.  How much are the tickets going to be?

Quick question...so it's okay to put wine, beer or alcohol in our basket?  Nothing put together yet, just ideas!

Heck yes!

.

I can bring a Central Florida Basket :p (Disney, NASA , etc)
We haven't decided yet. It's a tricky tray. I hope I said that right.

Good morning everyone!

Here are some answers to your questions about the Basket Auction and Raffle:

1. Yes, you can put alcohol in your baskets; however, we have to limit the purchase of tickets to those that are 21 or older.

2. The Auction will be held as follows: You will be able to purchase a ticket for $1. You can purchase as many tickets as you like. You will then place your ticket stub in the container that coincides with the basket. You may also place as many tickets as you like in each container, raising your chances of winning that basket. I'm originally from New Jersey and we call this a Chinese Auction or Tricky Tray. It's a lot of fun and should bring in a nice donation  for Sarge and Calls for Recruits! As well as a nice prize for the lucky ticket holder!

3. As far as bringing your basket on a plane: alcohol cannot be brought in on your carry on; that needs to be in your checked luggage. Also, you might want to consider putting your basket together after you arrive.

Here is a list of those that have signed up to bring a basket. If I let anyone out, just let me know!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Sarge's Meet and Greet on June 27th!

Bad news from our SR tonight.  She has been ASMOed to medical Division 2341 and will not be graduating on 6/28.  We don't know the details yet as she was only allowed a short call to tell us and give us her new address.  I know she hurt her knee about 2 weeks ago, but she indicated the problem is with her foot, ankle and thigh, and something is torn.

I was so looking forward to meeting all of you at PIR :(.  I know you will have a great experience on the 28th proudly watching your SRs.  Our SR will get there when she's cleared and we'll get to enjoy her big day then.

That said, I won't be at Sarge's M & G, so please cancel my Florida basket.  Sorry.

So sorry to hear this news, will keep her in my prayers for a speedy recovery.  I can only imagine how tough this is right now for you and for her as I bet she was looking forward to seeing you as well.  Keep your chin up and before you know it the days will pass on by,

Michele

so sorry Kaleigh'sGramma  I was looking forward to meeting you too,  it has be a wild ride us ladies have been on,  and I have enjoy you being on my support team.   wishing her all the best, quick recovery.  God speed.
