Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 814

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

I have the flights, the rental car and the hotel reservations all made.  I won't be in time to go to Sarge's Meet and Greet :{

I would like to find out any instructions and suggestions that are talked about there.  I'm staying at the Marriott and I've heard they have a meet and greet.  I hope it is just as good.  I'll ask around at the Marriott.  If anyone going to Sarge's and staying at the Marriott could let me know what was said about the PIR or the weekend.  I would appreciate it greatly.  I'm just so excited and I don't want to miss anything!!

guitarmom, I did not get there in time for the meet and greet either. The seating for the 800 divisions is not that wide so you may be able to meet some others while waiting for PIR to begin.

We decided to stay there too.  The Navy Lodge didn't have any suites..so I changed our reservations for the Marriott Residence Inn.  However, we will go to Sarges meet n Greet.  I had heard and read so much about it...slide show much info shared and a lot of RSVP's.   It would be great to meet you and the rest of the DIV 814 family!

Hi Ladies!  I posted on the PIR site but thought I would comment here as well. As I have stated before I usually catch up with all of you on Sun or Sat!   My SR called apparently the DIV was rewarded with calls this weekend!   I hope all of you were able to receive one!   They are doing great and they will have battle stations in two weeks.  I also found out that they have not done the gas chamber yet which by the schedule I thought they had done this past week! ???    However, they are in the middle of shooting and Mon is shooting with lasers???   Not sure about what that is?   He sounded tired but good if that makes sense .... I think its that sense of pride that everyone spoke of that happens after everyone in the DIV gels and becomes more of a team!

Share your updates if you have them!

NautiGator!

Someone mentioned the SR Challenge coins, how do we order them?

I ordered one for AIRR from:  pirgifts on e-bay.  Sory I dont have aany more of an address than that.  $18.95 including tax and shipping.  Hope that is of some help.

me too

I received a letter today from my SR, he said they will be able to call on the 20th.  Does anyone know about battlestations yet?

I posted this on the PIR 6//28 group site, but today our SR called and said we  could only have 3 guests. Another mom from 814 said she got the same message.  Does anyone know whats up???

This is the official word from RTC on number of guests for this group:

http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp

Thank you for the information regarding number of guests. We received a call today from our son. He is so happy and can't wait to perform with his fellow drill team sailors!

I'm so excited about the PIR this coming Friday.  I look forward to meeting as many of the moms of our sailors as I can.  I'm staying at the Marriott near by.  Are all the sailors on Ship 04 Div 814 Divers?  My son has a Divers contract.
