Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 245 and 246

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I love how this site worked so quickly to get everyone in the right groups! You rock!

My son is in this group and I'm just wondering if all of the others in this group arrived at boot camp on Monday the 6th.  I'm really confused becaused many of the other boot camp moms who have said their child arrived on the 6th dont have PIR until July 3rd.

ktbhi, This TG was a little slower to fill, it was actually started the week before and had to "wait" to fill until the following week. Those that arrived on the sixth filled the divisions for the prior weeks TG and started the current weeks TG. Some of those that arrived on the same bus can even be in two different TGs with two different PIR dates.

This is why we always recommend on waiting until the form letter is received to get the PIR date. The last two divisions of this TG are most likely PUSH divisions. Just a little less time for training, but they will still get it done.

My son will be staying in Great Lakes for A school for AECF. Anyone else staying in this group?

:)

Now not sure if he's staying in Great Lakes. He says he won't know for a couple if weeks.

Super Cute Bunny Waving

My son also left on May 6th and I just received his address and PIR date of 6/28/13   Time to make travel arrangements :-)

My husband's in this group! :) I'm already getting excited for graduation!
Just got a call from my husband!! One happy woman!
My son just called too! He's actually enjoying boot camp!!! Misses home cooked food though!
Thanks to everyone at N4M posting about prospective phone calls I was able to make sure my phone was charged. I also made "847" as my background in my phone so I would recognize the area code when he called. It was a great relief to hear his voice and the excitement he is feeling. Thank you all!
