~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

I'm busy baking cookies to take to my sailor.  Do you know if they can take an electric razor with them to A-school? My son asked me to bring his.

CatMom:  Have to tell you about the verse you posted below:  When my older son was just in preschool (4 yr olds)....we would repeat his bible verses for that week in the car on the way to school....my other son, future sailor boy, was just 2 yrs old and we didn't realize yet how great he could memorize, especially when hearing the words.  So......as I was trying to get this verse into my older son's head, with 2 yr old strapped in his carseat.....he chimed in the end of the verse when older son didn't know!  I burst out laughing!  He could barely talk yet, but he had memorized his brother's bible verse.  I remember this verse always because of that incident.  Ahhh......those days of innocence pass so quickly...  :-(

Ok, this group is so very quiet.....maybe everyone is busy packing for PIR?  It will be here before you know it!

Good Morning!

211 is all male. My son didn't say who the other division was.

Comment by diannep on June 29, 2014 at 8:19am

Congrats to 211!  I wonder who the other winner(s) was?  There is an all-male division winner and an integrated (male/female) division winner....and a motivational chant winner, which actually could be one of the first 2 winners mentioned or a 3rd division.

Good Morning!
