My husband is in this division. I hope they get to write letters home today. I really miss him!! This weekened I feel like he missed so many things. My little brother went to the prom, I went to disneyland for the first time without him, I went to the swap meet with out him, and our niece is now able to fully hold her head on her own and she is making a lot more noises now. I know this is all a part of his new job... the whole missing things. I just need to get used to it is all.

I don't want to come off as rude, but please remove your SR's last names from this discussion. It is an OPSEC violation. We are not supposed to use last names. If you would like you all can Private Message each other and let each other know you SR's last name.

On a side note, this is a public forum..... so ANYone can read what you post.
Thanks for the heads up on last names.I thought that was for special ops only. I do not know how to remove his
His last name.if u know please let me .
Bobbysmom- if you look at your previous post there is a little tiny 'X' in the upper right hand corner. Just click on that and it will delete your post. OPSEC is for eveyone. When your son gets out in to the fleet you are not supposed to use specific places or times/dates. Everything must be a generalization. I know its sometimes hard to do to because we are so proud of our SR's but in reality, we are just helping protect them by following the OPSEC rules.

I hope everyone had a good weekend!! I am so looking forward to receiving a letter from him this week :)
