Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 233 and 234

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Too funny!!

What division is your son?

Too funny about the bathrooms. I love you all sharing stories about your SR's I don't feel so crazy thinking I am the only one with  a quiet son. Or the only one with a thought of "oh no he has to study and will he". Still hoping for a call but not counting on one. In the letter I got Thursday he said it took him 3 times but he passed the swim test. The dead mans float is what kept messing him up. I know he said to pray he passed inspection this week so if he did not maybe he can not call???

I'm sure each of you from 233 that use this website are not the parents of the recruits mentioned on the face book for your graduating divisions. I will only say there has been mention that a few SRs have decided they are going slack and the other SRs are still working hard and frustrated with this group.

In every TG there are a few that take a little longer to understand the goal in BC. It isn't unusual, it isn't uncommon, and it isn't anything new. Frustration is normal!!!!

Please don't "call out" anyone or a division, it happens to all of them!! It doesn't matter at this point who they are. The Navy does a good job of weeding out the bad seeds early on, and right now is the turning point.

I don't think any of these blogs called out a single division or SR. They seem to be a group of loved ones who are concerned that they are getting less phone/mail access to their SR's; than they see posted on other groups. Giving these parents an explanation on why they are getting less communication seems to me a comfort. I am sure the parents that are checking these blogs are not the parent's of the SR's having problems. But think the message to those of you that think your DIV is struggling is...yes they have maybe been restricted on family contact, but they are still on course to graduate at PIR. You will be in for a great surprise as they all come together for their Battle Station command.

My SR is not part of the discussion divisions. I just feel bad that other parent's and loved ones are having a different experience.

Just RSVP'ed to Sarge's Meet and Greet----really looking forward to it, and it goes without saying that I can't wait to see my son! :) Looking forward to meeting those of you that will be there, too!

Hi everyone! One more week to go!

My son's last letter said that he would be able to call Tuesday but yesterday came and went. Did anyone receive a phone call from 233.  Just curious.  Maybe whole division lost the privilege or just my son:(

How many are going to Sarge's Meet and Greet Thursday night.

Do you think that we could have a roll call on all the moms from 233 so we would be able to recognize names at Sarge's meet and greet from this site.

So excited for our SR's and to meet all the families especially those from 13/233.

Busy making those banners and PIR ribbons?

Thanks everyone and have a great day. On with the countdown.

I'm from 234 your brother division and will be there. Yay we made it!!!
