We have a division!!! Yay, I am super excited to get to know you all that have our SR's in the same division!

Please introduce yourselves! (no last names :)

I am Sharon. My daughter Erin is 21 and she came to bootcamp from Iowa. I live by myself, work as a dog groomer and I have a broken toe. I miss Erin so much but things are looking up! Got her form letter today. Got an 'I love you :) " on the back! I am so glad to know that Erin isn't alone. She is digging deep and working hard every day, and has your loved ones to help each other, learn from each other, and they are together in missing us like crazy too. And being a veteran, I know, their days are getting better each day too.

Next up.. our phone calls!! Next week? If not for sure the week after!. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Please friend me if ya want!

How about  FOUR  days and a wake up!!! I am giddy with excitement. Today is their last sunday holiday routine, tomorrow is their final academic test, Tuesday, well can't say :)  Wednesday we pack and wait for phones to ring, Thursday is travel day, and then finally, PIR! I think its gonna fly by!!

Can't wait to meet you all at meet n greets. I am planning on starting at Sarges and then finishing up at the Ramada.

Happy Sunday!! (did I mention I have 8 hours of work today and then I am on VACATION!!! until 7/18. Happy indeed!

My daughter was added 2 weeks ago to this division. I don't have a parking pass and am on pins and needles about her final PFA and test. She had failed both but she said her prior RDC targeted her rack and searched it even though other racks had things out in open that we're banned. . Also she was really struggling with her run and my son said a RDC would run with her to help her and no one did. She likes this division way better and says the RDC are much better so I am praying she passed this time. Her other RDC told the chief that she was not motivated enough and if she doesn't pass this time they would seperate her from the navy. She is very cute and has a very bubbly personality and it seems the RDC really targeted her. I'm hoping so much this DIV will help her. I'm hoping they don't seperate her and that is just the normal boot camp threat. I wish I could just relax and be excited to see her but instead this whole thing is just stressful

thomandker, I don't have any magic answers for you other than, have faith. They are taking their final academic test today. Their final PFA was friday. So.. NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS. Here is hoping your phone doesn't ring today or tomorrow!
