Hi Ladies,

Some of you may have seen a conversation between other moms, in a different PIR date, on Navy For Moms regarding a gift basket auction at Sarge's Meet and Greet.  I thought this would be fun for us to do as well, if we can get enough of us ladies to participate.  I believe the idea was to make a basket specific to our state or locale.  The proceeds will go to Sarge and his wife for hosting all of us.  This would just be on top of our donations for the Meet and Greet in appreciation to them.  I think if we could have at least 10 ladies say yes to participating, this would be enough to "go" with.  We will need to set a monetary limit to spend on making the baskets, so I will wait to hear your response:)  I am signing up to make one basket right now:)  Anyone who cannot or does not wish to make a basket, can feel free to bid on the baskets;)

Thanks for any involvement!

ps. Mine will be "Imported from Detroit"

Oh yeah, they love their cars!  My younger son also is wearing a lot of clothes his older brother gave him

I finished my basket I tried uploading a picture but it wouldn't load from my phone. I'll try tonight on my home computer .

I saw it on facebook:)  I really like it.  I love that you put So Cal on one end and the PIR date on the other

Hi Ladies!  I just wanted to check in and say thank you for participating by making your gift basket.  I hoped it would be fun for you, and I think it will be a fun thing to do at Sarge's.  I will do my best to be there a little early to meet you.  Sarge said he will have a table set up for us, and my husband will do the auctioning part.  See you in just a few days:)

Ladies!!!! You are SO amazing! Your baskets were beautiful and full of wonderful things! Thank you! The basket auction brought 550.00. I think we all had fun with it too:-) I know I did:-)

It was so fun, and I would do it again.  I live for fundraising, next to taking care of my 1st bunch of puppies!  lol  I scored the NE basket!  Go Huskers!  It was Awesome!  So glad that we were able to raise that much cash.  I know that Serge was very grateful.  They did a wonderful job with the food, even though we didn't get a brownie.....lol  We were last in line to make sure everyone else got food 1st.  We know what it is like to plan an event and have more than what you are expecting, and then making the food go far enough....What a fun night, just wish we would of had more time to visit and meet our friends from facebook.

I am glad you enjoyed it!  I did too!  That was a huge turnout, and so much fun:)

Thanks again for suggesting it and organizing it all! You did a great job! So nice meeting you! Can't wait to see our Sailors tomorrow!!!!

Thanks, Deanna!  It was wonderful meeting you:)

Thank you, ProudNavyMom...I really had fun, and hope you all did too:)  Thanks for being part of it!
