Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 269 and 270

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

@Zachery's mom, my son didn't write much about the move in the letter I got today.  It contained the new address tho.  I can't complain. He's never been a writer but most of the letters I've received have been informative & tear jerking lol.  My sons name is Zachary too.  Have you heard anything about phone calls? The last I heard it was going to be 7/16.  That must be when battlestations are done.

@Ginj64 I received my weekly letter today:)) I always look forward to Wednesdays.  Where are you from?  I'm from Michigan.

Happy 4th of July to everyone.  May God bless you all and our children, spouses, siblings, etc who are making the sacrifice so we don't have to.  If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have anything to celebrate today.  GOD BLESS AMERICA:))

Heard from my SR on the 4th.  Talked for about 25 min or so.  He said battlestations will be the Tuesday before graduation.

What ship and Div?

One Hour phone call!!! He sounds wonderful! They have four hours to do whatever they want! He is on his way to Taco Bell with a few other S.R. He told me Monday Gas Chamber a.k.a Confidence Chamber--and the reason why some of them has to move--because have of them are bunking with the fresh S.R. Makes sense now! I also found out when BS for 269 was going to be--but I am not sure if I can post it on here?

I feel so much better!

Talked with mine for an hour too:) It's such a wonderful feeling when they sound as good as they do.  I asked mine if they did anything yesterday for the 4th and he says they got to go to bed earlier than normal which was a treat lol.  After this phone call I hope the next 2 weeks go by fast!!!! Nothing could've made my day any better than hearing his voice.  Simply Amazing!!!!  He did ask for extra prayer for this coming week because for him it's the biggest week as far as testing & preparing for BS.

I heard from my son on Friday (July 5th).  He said they had some free time and were at "Recruit Heaven."  He was excited because he had Taco Bell, a Red Bull and a Snickers bar!!  It was so great to hear his voice and we are counting down the days until PIR.

Oops, I forgot to mention that my son is on Ship 13, Division 270, but just got moved to ship 11.

Six more days!!!

I thought it would never get here...and now I can't believe it almost is!!
