Donna, So sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless You. <3
Hi everybody. I know that it's been forever since I've been here or posted anything. A lot has happened, recently. Fist my son ended up coming home before even graduating, actually in August of 2010. I also have so much more bad news, this pat July the 27th (2012), or almost 10 months ago, my son died in a car accident because of a massive head injury. He fell asleep driving and hit the rear axle of a semi. It's been a really hard past 10 months while trying to deal with the death of my oldest son, a tremendous amount of pain and depression. Since, I did start this group almost 3 years ago, I was wondering if somebody would like to take it over for me, since I don't think that I have the time or the energy that should be devoted to being any kind of group leader.
I will enjoy our time together . Thank you. I know he'll be leaving a few more times before drydoc so excited and ancy. All the navywives deployment is something that can be helpful to a relationship I know there is a lot of seperation and less communication but knowing that no matter how much either one of you guys is missunderstood or all the fights and troubles you know you kept faithful. Truly Honor Courage and Commitment... :,,) Deployment is something none of us wish for but It just happens.
NewNavyWife, enjoy your time together! It has gone very fast.
Hi All, I was unaware of this group until now, not much time on computer! Ray made it home for Christmas as he is in A school, ET, at GL. Nice to be here.
My darling sailor finished Corps School last month and got to come home for about 10 days before reporting to San Diego. He has the chance to come home for Christmas but no leave time. He is upset but I told him just to stay and share the holidays with his shipmates. I spent 21 years in the Navy and missed alot of holidays. He will survive. He wants to try and go to Germany next fall to see his friend stationed there so that is what he needs to focus on. We will miss him but he does have family in the LA area where he can celebrate Christmas dinner with. He is luckier than most. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Hoping you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Expect my son home before Christmas this year.
Yes happy holidays to everyone. We all did have some good times on here. I hope everyone is well and gets to try to be with their love one for the holidays and those who dont I understand the way it feels. Days still go by slow but weeks fly by. Anyways I wish all of your families the best of luck.
