Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Those of you old enough to remember this song by the Beatles will know the tune...if not you can find it somewhere on youtube.  I've changed a few words which I put in all CAPS.  As you can probably tell NO LETTER came today!   Here's a THEME for all of us!

PLEASE MISTER POSTMAN

Wait, oh yes wait a minute mister postman
Wait, wait mister postman

Mister postman look and see
If there's a letter in your bag for me
I been waiting such a long time
Since I heard from that SR of mine

There must be some word today
From my SR so far away
Please mister postman look and see
If there's a letter, a letter for me
I been standing here waiting mister postman
So patiently
For just a card or just a letter
Saying MY SR IS THINKING OF me

Please Mr. Postman, look and see
If there's a letter, oh yeh for me,
I've been waiting, a long long time
Since I've heard from that SR of mine.

So many days you passed me by
See the tear standing in my eye
You didn't stop to make me feel better
By leaving me a card or a letter

Please Mr. Postman, look and see
If there's a letter, oh yeh for me,
I've been waiting, a long long time
Since I've heard from that SR of mine.

You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute
You gotta check it and see, one more time for me

Wait
Wait
Wait
Deliver the letter, the sooner the better

Wait

No letter today either...  :(  I have only received 1 so far...
I have gotten 2. I am glad. I am just missing him. Tomorrow is our anniversary. =(

Hang in there....he's missing you more!  We'll see them in 25 days

No letter today - but Thursday is letter day for me!  Can not wait till tomorrow.
I also love this song.  Joined yesterday. Missing my David terribly.  Only got 1 letter and 1 phone call and he was sick.  So now I'm worrying even more.
we've been talking about that on the main group board.  They're all getting that cough/cold.  Hopefully he will go to medical and get something for it.  Mine did and seemed better in last letter.  Each letter is different though.  I too am hoping to get a letter today.  First letter came on a Thurs. last two on Fri. but it is Hell week and he may have had to study rather than write.
