OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I DO want to say (My original intent to post-but I was trying to keep up with you!), that I enjoy reading about all your young marriages and the joy you are experiencing...and the trials!

I was a Law Enforcement GF/ANG (now AF Reserves) Boot Camp GF...so I know exactly what you are going through. Been with the same man for 31 years (we were 18,19 yrs old when we met and dated for 6 years). Listening to you all brings back memories.

Guess what? He makes me feel "young" all the time. My "Command Man" is currently on his second Deployment (first one right after 9/11-after almost 20 years in the military), or I should say OURS!

Our eldest is in "A" school, so I've got two military men out right now.) I hear at our church that there is one Family with four children in the service!)

I love my hubby MORE now than I ever have...because he is the Command Man!

It's never boring!

Ummm...ladies...please be careful what you are posting on here. The RDC's read this and so can any other member (if this is a public group, and I believe it is,-then so can anyone on the web!)

Your picture will identify you along with any names you might use. I have heard a few stories in the short time I have been on here. One I haven't posted is SR being pulled into an office in front of a computer with the N4M site up and being asked if it is there mom (gf etc.)...they can't lie as I am sure that their RDC has already figured it out.

One SR had to do 5 pushups for every time his mom posted. One GF posted information from a letter from her SR and it got back to RDC and her SR was very upset to say the least. You can imagine how she felt.

So, please...for your SR and YOU use caution on the public pages.

You should probably "friend" each other and talk there about intimate things.

How happy you are and can't wait to see them-we want to see though!
