howarki, did you try the comment box to download the picture?  If you want it to appear in a comment, you can click on the image link and then choose the picture from your files.  It will appear in the comment box then.  I just did the blue angel plane below that way. :)

Thanks fireteam, I was happy to help you and any others who need me :-)

I am wearing prescription sunglasses inside today and everything seems so dark lol. But My glasses broke this morning and I can't read without them so I am hoping they can fix them this afternoon. These are just too dark and it is making my head hurt :-(

I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Hey!  You guys are on the Grad list (RTC).  Only 5 divisions...very SMALL group!  Here are the divisions in this group:

Div 231-234, 936

DONNA:  Can you add those division numbers after your PIR 07/22/11 title?  Makes it easier for the ladies to find you and helps me when figuring out BattleStations.  Thanks!

Ditto Betsy!

My son enlisted and was gone in 3 weeks. I came here with a big HELP messsage! The site just seemed so daunting at the time. Was pointed in the right direction to get started and then...well...the addiction  , I mean connection sets in!

About sending paper and stamps. Here is the way I viewed it (remember this is just my personal opinion!)

I knew the Navy would provide ( I believe that I read somewhere that the issue is addressed. I also saw in the RTC NEX packets made up for the SR to purchase that have all of the stationary in it.) OR allow them access to buy paper, stamps etc. I figured, for my SR anyways, that HE needed to make that effort too. Yes, he is in BC and it has it stresses, but for me I felt that he needed to make that an effort as part of his taking on responsibility. That was just me.

ALSO, I WANTED a letter on OFFICIAL RTC paper!

I only got one letter ladies AND the questionnaire I sent. I finally(after MUCH distress and boo-hooing-thanks LaLa!) resigned myself and accepted that he is just not a writer. PLUS, he did get sick a couple of times, once with pneumonia.

He earned a few phone calls too! AND he called me at 12:15 (2:15 GL time) when he got his "I'm a Sailor" call! Even though he could have gone and had fun first!

Sherblond, thank you.  We truly do remember what it is like to feel very proud, lost, confused, happy, sad and terrified all at the same time.  :)
