OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

SHERBLOND:  Ditto to everything you said.  If I had not had this group for support I would have thought I was the only person stressed to the max. going through this.  It was helpful just to know that what I was feeling was shared and I didn't need to be committed.  Although my husband still wants to do a N4M's intervention or take me to the hospital to have the laptop surgically removed from my lap I just wouldn't have survived without you all!

Hi Ladies, Just wanted to say congrats to all of you and your new Sailors....seems like a lifetime since the tension was out of my shoulders and it was just Friday when we got our call...lol. Anyway, also wanted to say thanks to all of you for enduring this journey with me. I haven't posted alot on here, but I have read each and every word that you ladies have written and it was such a comfort to me to not be in this alone. I am so proud of all our new Sailors and of each of everyone of you! Hope to see/meet you all at the Meet N Greet and PIR....God Bless our Sailors and the US Navy!
