Missing all of you from this group. New groups are good but not as tight as we were here.  I hope all of you and your Sailors are doing well.

Power School is like I guess when they learn to do the Nuke work on the sub. The basics and doing it all. Travis is very excited. My school is going ok. Just trying to make it through the week because he comes home most every weekend to see and spend time with us. I am doing mission work in Kenya. I am very excited. We are doing some music exchange with them and I am in love with music. Travis will be done with all his training in September 2013. He has three different schools to do. February is the end of A-School so we have that graduation. Then we have power school graduation in September 2012. Then we have prototype which by then we are crossing all our fingers we are married for so I can move down there. How all is well.

ILMSTRAVIS: Sounds like Travis is doing well. Need to ask what power school is.  How is your schooling going?  Your mission trip next year sounds interesting....where will that be?  When will Travis be done with all his training?  Devin is home this weekend and only has two weeks to go until graduation.  Don't know what his orders will be but we think he'll do reserve duty until 2014.  They have kind of hinted that he won't get a deployment until then.  We'll see what happens! I'm glad that it seems that most have settled into Navy life.

NewNavyWife: Haven't heard back from you I hope you are doing okay.  Being in a new place by yourself can be rough...hang in there and if you get a chance email me here.

I have been on from time to time. Trav is still in A-School. Dang Nuke!! We are graduating A School in Feb goin on a cruise then off to Power School til September. Then we are going to prototype til the following September. I am going over seas from May '12 to September '12 to do some mission work and music stuff so he will get a dose of what it is like to not have so much communication. I hope y'all are doing well. I will post pics up of our christmas pics. Taking him in a few weeks. Hope y'all are ok!

I am a retired HM1 so when my sailor called telling me about his IV stick first I laughed then came the memories. I really loved being "Doc".

Just got back from visiting my Sailor in San Antonio, he too is headed to San Diego 11/1.  He said 5 of their group are going there.  The weather should be nice for them. It was still pretty hot when we went to SA.  The base in SA is huge but Camp Pendelton is even bigger. He said that they had to learn how to do IV's this last week and there was blood going every where.

UFQ202: So good to hear that your Sailor is doing well.  We are in California and Devin has been able to come home the last seven weekends.  I hope that your Sailor will love the San Diego base.  There are at least two others from this PIR group that are in San Diego. Nice to keep up-to-date hopefully others will check in here also.
