I don't think 936 would do BS on Thurs/Fri because they do PIR performance on Friday and would be too tired to do that. Plus if BS isn't over until at least 8am that wouldn't give them enough time....Still hope for the posted sun/mon BS!

lizzy:  All of those tests are completed shortly before BattleStations.  I believe PFA is the final test, but not sure on that.  BattleStations usually starts for most PIR groups the Thurs a week before PIR. Therefore, some of the divisions have completed Battlestations by the time of Captains Cup.  But most will be going the following week (week of PIR).

We are pretty sure that Div 231/232 will be sailors by Captains Cup (going Thurs night).  Whether any of the other 3 divisions will go with them that night, we don't know.  Most likely not with such a small PIR group...but you never know.

You all please post BattleStations dates for the divisions if you hear from your SRs.

Received another letter today...first time to get letters two days in a row.  This was the day after 4th of July, which he said was awesome.  Said it was the best fireworks display he'd ever seen.  I can hardly believe they are entering their final phase of training leading up to Battle Stations now.

Howarki: My SR is in a different division 936 than yours and reported his rackmate had the fever.  He was also hoping not to get it.  Sounded like rackmate didn't go to medical but fever broke next day anyway.  Gee, I hope they don't get sick for this final week.  Mine made run time by only 12 seconds last PFA...but if sick how would he get that final PFA.  He did say that week 6 would be a lot of work but fun too. They have the 3rd (hardest) written test, PFA final test, more inspections, graduation to perform at (Fri), Captains Cup (Sat) and Battle Stations (couldn't confirm date but didn't think Thurs/Fri because of performing at PIR on Fri).

Tear gas chamber....My SR didn't like the idea of having to throw up into his own t-shirt.  I just said, "Eat light".  How's that for encouragement :-(    BAD MOM.

Oh NOOOOO not the gas chamber!!! When my SR asked what was the thing I hated about boot camp the most I said the Gas Chamber!!!! Talk about boogers........ OMG!!! Their sinuses will be nice and open after it. I liked the fire fighting even though it was hot that day in Orlando. So good knowing this is almost over for them.

Calls will come in on Fri, the 15th for those divisions who went the 14th/15th.  Next calls could be coming in on Mon, the 18th.  Anyone who has not received calls by then, they may have another group going on Mon/Tues so calls come on Tues.  Hoping that you all get some more definite dates for your SR's Battlestations.  If so, please post.
