Lala:  Do you think that the guest pass you got from Navy Lodge to buy at the off-base NEX was because only those connected to Navy can stay at Navy Lodge?  I'm wondering if the other hotels  (not connected to Navy) have the authority to give out the passes; i.e., confirming that a person has a sailor?  Just curious about that....hoping that it is true, but was just wondering.  Maybe they make the guests show them their gate pass, etc?  I would like to know for future info to other family members.

YOu can go to the one that is off base just down the street from the base without your sailor. You have to get a guest pass from your hotel to be able to purchase anything. We got one from our hotel, we stayed at the Navy Lodge.

Can you only go to the NEX that is off base with your Sailor, or can we go on Thursday without him before PIR?
