Terrysproudmom. Well, you never know. Remember, the advantage of RTC having Thurs night Battlestations is it gives the SRs in the PIR group before you extra time to pass their PFAs and do BattleStations that night (with your group) so they can be at their own PIR the next day. Most weeks, they have Thurs night BattleStations. But with five divisions, just not sure. I think if they start on Thurs night (week before PIR), it will be Div 231/232 going.
Please be asking your SRs when their date is and post so we can finish our schedule up in the discussion group above.. It is possible that they will go Thurs/Fri, Mon/Tues, Tues/Wed...but really don't know. Only your SRs can tell us!
Terrysproudmom: I didn't realize that either when my son was there. He is also an E-3...but like I said, they get backpay to bring them up to the E-3 pay from what I read.
AMEN on your comments about our military!
You all check out pir 7/8's page...they are receiving their first batch of I'm a Sailor calls today! That will be your group in a couple of Fridays!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PICTURES of today's PIR on the RTC facebook page. I had tears rolling and my kid wasn't even there. Shows what we have to look forward to and really good pictures of what our 936 division will be doing. Everyone have a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Stay safe. Remember it is our military that has kept us independent and free so celebrate them too this weekend!
Wow, FTLW. Thanks for sharing that. Let me know if his first pay deposit was on the 15th...I can't imagine that he received one on the 1st, 2 days after he arrived. The 15th makes more sense because I have seen some get their pay 2 weeks after arriving (depending on dates). I think my sailor's group was delayed by the holidays--Thanksgiving, Christmas, and also New Years.
