Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 247 and 248

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good morning!!! My niece was in RCU and just got put on with ship12 Div 247 last night. So excited she will get her graduation she wanted!!!
Welcome back NavyAunt has anyone received phone calls from Division 248 today

No one received phone calls on Saturday?  My son is Ship 12, Div. 247, and no phone call.

My daughter in ship 12 div 247, when can I expect call from her informing me " I am a sailor" or a bad call . PIR date is July 24, 2015. Pls let me know any info.

Daughter is Ship 12, Div. 247. After reading posts everywhere It looks like they are scheduled for BS *(OPSEC). We are driving in and since it is a near 12 hour drive from my location, we will be on the road when we receive the "I am a Sailor" call.

Just received a letter. Ship 12, Div 247, last week did firefighting and gas chamber. This week they have final PFA and she concludes with "and then BattleStations". Prayers for all, including family.

*(Battlestations date removed. RTC considers this ship movement)

My daughter is with Ship 12 Division 247. Anxious to know when BS are. My family is scheduled to leave Georgia on Wednesday. To all 12/247 and all naval families,we look forward to meeting you at the Meet & Greet on Thursday. Blue candles burning, good vibes flowing, prayers are lifted...awaiting patiently. Be blessed. Hooyah!
NavyMom65, can you private message me? I think I live very close to you!
NavyMom65 I have a daughter ship 12 division 247. BS21 you will get the call. We are leaving NC Tuesday and staying at campground in RV. Look forward to meeting you Thursday. Praying for safe travel and all our SR/SAILORS!
From what I understand Battlestation is Monday or Tuesday for this unit so after 2pm on Monday or Tuesday everyone will get the I'm a Sailor phone call.
Just got short call from daughter 247. She barely passed PFA. The ones that did not pass will do again tomorrow. They are encouraging each other. All she wants Friday is spicy food, a big juicy hamburger and all the time she wants to eat it. Happy mom right now. The call was less than a minute and I do not complain.
Hi, I'm wandering I have not received call from my daughter ,ship 12 div 247? Do you have info? You said your daughter is in same div. I'm worried!
