DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 225 and 226

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is in Div 226. I look forward to getting to know each of you and meeting you at PIR.

My son is Div 226 also I look forward to meeting you and hope your son is doing well.  My son told me his commander does not yell like the others and seems cool.  The work outs are intense but not unbearable.  The boots different story.  lol

My son is in Div 226 and today I am sending some of these questionnaires for him and some of the guys to use I hope you get one otherwise send it out you might get it back.  Also I am sending my son return address labels to save on time for letters.

Hi all. My son is div 225. I'm so glad we have this site available.

225 too:)

Hey Alice I called my sons recruiter and he confirmed the PIR date for me as July 25 so I know Sean wasent held back.  Im pretty sure the wisdom teeth thing is what prevented me a phone call this past weekend.  Its neat how the two divisions are brothers lol  Hopefully we get some more moms in our brother divisions.

Welcome to this group! My son said they had a large division. Hopefully more moms find thier way here. Make sure to tell your SRs to mention to their peers so they tell their loved ones. That may be one way they can find us.

My son is DIV 225.... got our 1st phone call on Saturday!! He was a little teary, (we both were)  but overall sounded good, just homesick. Said he'll call again in about 3 weeks. Hopefully he will have more time to talk. Missing my boy...

Hang in there all of us are going thru the same thing.  Even if you just send a comic or write one sentence keep sending him mail almost every day even if it is to talk about pets.  They also can receive tasteful pictures and band aids but only a few.

Did anyone else hear about the division getting the Camp David flag?? My SR said they are the first division to receive a flag.

No but my son wrote to his girl friend and said his Division 226 is being sponsored by Camp David there is a Navy Base there.

Hi ellen0502 my son is in Ship 13 Div 226 thank you for the updates
