Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 225 and 226
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

My son is Div 225 as well! Looking forward to seeing him in about 24 more days!!! I hope all goes well with everyone of our kids during these three weeks!
OK fellow moms...I got a letter from my son today and he had some info about his Div 225 and their brother Div 226: he said there are 6 other divs graduating with them and right now these brother Div's (225 & 226) are currently the top ranked out of all of them because they have not had any demerits and no hits from the FQA. He said if they keep going as good as they are there is a good chance they can go into the hall of fame for their scores! He stated Tuesday the 1st they started "hell week" - to give you an idea where they are at. I hope this helps a few of you moms that might be out of the loop. It is good to know that both of these Div's are doing so well and our kids are keeping up with everything and then some. 3 weeks and counting ladies!!!!
Austinsmom: Just remember that the first check or two deduct the cost of uniforms and their supply cost, so those may be a little lower than the others!
Diannep - yes I know he said he was just wondering how much he will have left after the deductions! LOL. I said he really wasn't going anywhere to spend right now anyways so he is ok! Thanks!
Way to go!!! My son is div 225 and he never mentioned how well they are doing. He is not one to brag about anything until it is a "sure" thing. His last letter was very positive, he gets to carry the 4th flag. I guess a positive attitude is the best attitude to have going into hell week! Thanks Austinsmom and Tamara for the updates!

I too received a letter today, mine must have been written before yours. My son said he is sick with strep throat and may need to see medical...im saying to myself what the heck are you waiting for!! He did say he got sharpshooter and that was a ribbon on his uniform (eye candy) he compared it to...lol. Although he had not mentioned anything about the boys fighting, this is not good. I was wondering what they did for the fourth of July and from the sound of your letter they didn't have a good on. I so wish I would have got a phone call this week :-( My son had watch last sunday during holiday routine and that's why we didn't get a letter last week which I was so bummed about. How are you holding up Alice?? this is getting very intense!!

I ordered a challenge coin for the Marvin Shields ship 13 yesterday and they said I would have it by this Thursday. So if anyone else was going to order its not too late.
