Yep, true, the sailors who did BattleStations had been up since very early the morning on the DAY BEFORE.  So, yes, they are very very tired by the time they call.  They got to hit their racks 2 hours early last night....this morning, they are in Captains Cup!  Lots of fun for them!

Good morning everybody. Congrats on getting calls, so happy for you all. Waiting patiently for my call-- no not really -- nervous, excited all in a BIG ball. You would think I was going through battle stations. Just breath -- got it,lol

If your Sailor sounds a little flat or not as excited as you expected, do not be alarmed. They are very exhausted by the time they call you, possibly up for 36+ hours like when they first arrived. By PIR, they will have all their energy back I'm sure! Do ask them what they want to do on Liberty so you can plan. At first we thought he would want to sightsee. When I spoke to him on the phone he stated he just wanted to hang at hotel, put on his boxers and civvies, order in and visit with us. Also get in a wrestling match with his little brother, lol.

I spoke to my SR for about 10 minutes. It could have been much longer, but I wanted him to have time to call his Dad too. He actually called one of his best friends, who is like a brother to him, before he ran out of time.
