Good morning ProudMamma-Little Creek is in Virigina.  He has to be there next Monday (31st).  OS stands for Operations Specialist but as I understand, he will be doing something else while he is attached to the seal team.

Make it a great day!

Kathy, Congratulations to your son on his 100% on his final exam.  Where is Little Creek?  When is your son leaving for Little Creek.  Wht is OS?  Have a great time with your son.

ProudMama, I remember you too.  My son was in A-school at Great Lakes for OS.  I would have liked to have attended his A-school graduation but it was too far to travel for just a short time.  I am so proud of him; he had a 100 on his final exam.  My son probably won't be home again for quite a while.

I hope your son gets to come home for Christmas.

KC's Mom-I'm glad to hear your son will be home for Christmas too!

Hi Kathy, I remember you too from the Meet and Greet at the Ramada the night before our sons had PIR.  I think your son went to FL.  My son is in Groton, CT.  We just got to spend a week there for his graduation from BESS (Basic Enlisted Submarine School) and had a great time.  It's not as far as going to GL and he will be there for over a year.  I think he might be able to get leave over Christmas!

Yes, I know!!!!  How could I forget such a wonderful family.  I'm a nurse and this was my year I actually was going to have to work Christmas Eve AND Christmas day but I took off Christmas Day so I could spend it with my HERO!!

KC'smom-I'm in Harrisburg, but my daughter lives in Columbia, MD. My sailor's girlfriend and I saw you at the airport before boot camp.

That would be so nice if he could come home for Christmas.

KC is in A school in California and it lasts 18 months, so I don't get to see him unless I go to California. (I'm on the East coast of course). but, word out on the street is, he gets to come home for Christmas!!!!  yaaaaaay!!

KC'smom-It's good to hear from you. My son graduated from A school and is coming home tonight before he leaves for Little Creek. I know I will have to share and won't get a whole lot of time with him but it will be so good to see and TOUCH him.

I hope you all have a great weekend. Miss all of you. It was so nice meeting you at graduation.

When do you think you will see your son? Please remind me where he is going to school?

6 months ago today, my son was sworn in to the US Navy. April 20, 2011.  I've only seen him 9 hours since then. I really miss my boy, but my GOD am I proud to be his mom!!!!!
