love4one, Like CatMom said, lock that FB down tight (it should be anyway with your husband in the military), and limit who sees what posts.

Next, coming from the mom of a Sailor...(me), Bravo Zulu for wanting to go to PIR to support your husband, and show him how proud you are of him. It is a wonderful experience, one you will never forget. Say pishaw to the all the negative people they just don't understand, they just talk loud.

Welcome to your second family the Navy one!

Big Hug

Finally able to send my letters out to my SR! Bummed I haven't received a call or letter yet but I know it's still very early in the BC experience. Just miss him so much!

love4one,

It's sad that those who don't have loved ones in the military just don't understand what you are going through!  Are there any who at least Like and support you because unfortunately, the naysayers tend to be louder.  Maybe just come here to post about your excitement or you need to change who sees your posts about Navy stuff on FB?  ((HUGS))

Ladies! I need some encouragement or something! I'm so tired of my family talking trash to me about how I can't be sad about my husband being gone and stuff like that. The biggest thing is they are now saying I spend to much money because I posted on Facebook that I bought my plane ticket to go see him for pir!!!! Are you kidding me???? I'm just so over the negativity. Ahhh
